In March 2023, the DigiComPass project conducted a 3-day training in Valencia, emphasizing the Flipped Learning methodology for a digital skills web course. Hosted by IFESCoop (INICIATIVAS DE FUTURO PARA UNA EUROPA SOCIAL) at UGT Unión General de Trabajadoras y Trabajadores, the training aimed to provide foundational knowledge on Flipped Learning 3.0 and establish a content framework for digital literacy courses. The European Initiative for Education from Austria played a pivotal role in developing this framework.
The Flipped Instructional Design (FID) document introduces Flipped Learning 3.0, highlighting its pedagogical advantages and the ‘Global Elements of Effective Flipped Learning’. It presents a comprehensive Training Content Framework, emphasizing learner needs analysis, course material planning, and assessment strategies.
The document also discusses the importance of formative and summative evaluations and introduces the Plan-Do-Check-Act Quality Circles method for continuous improvement. The project is currently developing five course modules based on the DigCom Framework, covering key digital literacy topics.
