The project “DigiComPass” was launched in December 2022.
After intensive preparatory work (from September to November), the project team met for the first time on 1 December for a Zoom-based meeting. People from all partners attended this meeting.
The meeting served to prepare the kick-off meeting, which is planned for January 2023 and will take place in Wiener Neustadt (Austria).
After the first welcome, the partners presented themselves and gave a brief introduction about the organisation and their focus. The team discussed items dealing with the Kickoff meeting in Wiener Neustadt and cleared the first issues of the corporate design of the project.
The project’s aim is to develop training for adults, based on the DigComp 2.2 Framework. The difference with the ECDL (European Computer Driving License) is that these courses will be free, without payment for the training license. A newly established association will care for the continuity of the training concept and the necessary updates and further development.
Entirely new is the approach to training: It uses the Flipped Learning 3.0 Framework and creates a link to the worldwide network (through the integration of the Flipped Learning Global Initiative).
